Barbara McCrary, PE, and Wesley Sherer, PE, both Principals at HHB Engineers recently co-authored an article in the peer-reviewed publication ASHRAE Journal, published by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the professional society for Engineers in HVAC related fields. The article was co-authored by Dr. Steve Kavanaugh, Professor Emeritus at the University of Alabama. The Technical Feature, titled, “Resource Center Surface Water Heat Pump System” discusses the success, design process, and lessons learned for the lake source heating and cooling system at the Resource Center at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama.
