Congratulations to Barbara H. McCrary, who won the 2006 ASHRAE Willis H. Carrier Award for a best paper presented at an ASHRAE meeting in 2006, by a member age 32 years and younger, for her paper “Environmental Impacts of Surface Water Heat Pump Systems”, co-authored with Dr. Steve Kavanaugh and Dr. Derek Williamson, both of the Unversity of Alabama.
She also received the 2006 ASHRAE Poster Presentation Award for the best poster presentation from the 2006 Winter and Annual Meetings, for the same paper mentioned above, published in ASHRAE Transactions. The research associated with this paper was part of Barbara’s Master’s Thesis at the University of Alabama.
