Prattville Public Safety Building

Scope: Renovation of the approx. 25,000 SF 1960s era Continental Eagle Gin Company office building by the Historic Prattville Redevelopment Authority (www.historicprattville.com) located in historic downtown Prattville, AL into the Prattville Public Safety building. The City of Prattville will ease the building for the Public Safety Building from the HPRA. The project consists envelope upgrades, interior renovation, and electrical and mechanical upgrades. The existing mechanical cooling and heating plants will be replaced with new air cooled chillers and high efficiency natural gas condensing boiler, new pumps, and piping. Air handling units, some ductwork, and some fan-powered VAV boxes will be reused, while new ductwork and VAV boxes will be installed to accommodate the new floor plan and zoning. New plumbing systems will be installed throughout. The project is expected to be completed in 2016.

HHB Engineers serves as the Mechanical Engineers for the project.
