We are proud to announce that our President/CEO, Barbara McCrary, PE, has been recognized nationally as one of Engineered Systems 20 Women to Watch in HVAC. Barbara is one of 20 recipients from a pool of nearly 200 nominees for this honor. Engineered Systems Magazine published a written and video interview, both of which can be found at the link below. In her interview, Barbara shares how she became interested in engineering and HVAC, some of her proudest achievements, challenges that she has overcome, mentors that have made major impacts on her life/career and much more.
Barbara joined HHB Engineers in 2006, after previously working for Johnson, Spellman, and Associates in Atlanta, GA. She earned Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama. During both her graduate level work in HVAC and throughout her professional career, Barbara has received numerous awards and recognitions for her outstanding achievements. Her experience in design is wide ranging from new construction projects to historic renovations, from jails to laboratories to natatoriums to football stadiums. She is passionate about her work and delivering a high quality level for her clients. Congratulations again Barbara!
