Delta Chi Fraternity House Renovation and Addition
HHB Engineers were the Mechancial Engineers for the design and construction phase for the project, responsible for all aspects of the HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire protection system upgrades.
Scope: The Delta Chi Fraternity renovation and addition increased the existing house area from approximately 10,000 sq. ft. to 17,500 sq. ft. The number of bedrooms increased from 10 to 34. Other improvements to the house include a full renovation to the existing building, an expanded commercial kitchen, larger dining room, new fellowship hall, new plumbing fixtures, high efficiency HVAC and water heating equipment, and the addition of a fire suppression system.
