Operating Room #15 Renovation
Scope: Renovation of the 675 sq ft Operating Room #15 at Jackson Hospital to a state-of-the art operating room. HVAC renovation including removal and replacement of ductwork and air distribution in the room with new air curtain style air distribution with laminar diffusers and low return.
Medical gases including air, oxygen, vacuum, WAGD (evac), nitrogen, and CO2 were added and extended to the OR. CO2 piping was added but capped off for future use.
The fire suppression sprinkler system was also renovated for the space with new piping and sprinkler heads.
HHB Engineers served as the Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection engineering consultant for the project.
