HHB Engineers has been selected, along with TAG Architects, for the renovation of the US Marshal’s space on the 2nd floor of the Hugo Black US Courthouse in downtown Birmingham, AL.   The General Services Administration (GSA) is managing the project.  The 9-story building is 200,000 square foot and was built in 1987.  The building houses seven primary courtrooms, a larger ceremonial courtroom, and four magistrate courtroom. It incorporates secured underground parking and chambers and offices for judges, clerks and other staff members.

Initial project budget is $1.5M.
