Repair Building 121 for EOD Flight
Type: Full Design, Completed 2011.
Scope: HHB served as the Prime A/E under IDIQ Contract W91278-09-D-0075 TO 002 for a Full Design for this project to prepare full design plans and specifications for the renovation and addition of the Repair Building 121 for Civil Engineering Squadron and EOD Flight at Homestead ARB, FL. Features included:
- Renovations of the interior office/training areas
- Installation of a new overhead coiling door sized for the EOD tactical vehicle (BSERV).
- Construction of a mezzanine in the existing warehouse for EOD equipment storage.
- Construction of a warehouse addition adjacent to the existing warehouse. An electrically operated passage sliding door was installed between the new and existing warehouse.
- Climatic controlled Armory
- Construction of office and toilet for logistics functions.
