Alabama Air National Guard Squadron Operations Facility, Montgomery, Alabama: Target: LEED Certified v3. New 28,600 square foot facility. Base bid is water-source heat pump, alternate is vertical ground-source heat pump system. Rainwater harvesting system designed for fixture flushing. FY2017 project, design nearing completion.
HHB Engineers is the Mechanical Engineers for the project, responsible for all apsects of the design and construction administration for the HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for the building.
HHB is also responsible for all LEED design and calculations, including energy modeling for the project in order to achieve LEED Certified.
