Scope: The scope was to perform a Design Charrette & and Master Plan for the requirements Phase I of a whole barracks renewal complex for the 82nd Airborne Division Artillery (DIVARTY). The user is also known as the 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment (FAR). The 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment consists of 1-319th, 2-319th, and 3-319th Airborne Artillery Battalions. In addition, the Regiment has a Headquarters Battery (HHB), and a Delta Battery stationed in Italy. The 82nd Airborne Division Artillery deploys anywhere worldwide within 18 hours of notice in order to plan, coordinate and execute lethal and non-lethal fires in support of 82nd Airborne Division and other selected maneuver units..
The design requires The DIVARTY Whole Barracks Renewal – Phase I requiring the design and construction of the following buildings: the new barracks for 437 PN, new Brigade Headquarters facility, and a dining facility for 501-800 PN. The facilities design requires all necessary site work, utilities, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and alarm systems, communications, security, force protection measures, pavements, parking, landscaping and site improvements,
HHB provided all Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire Protection support in the Charrette process and Master Plan Design for the Phase I complex.
