Wilcox Building renovations

Hattemer, Hornsby & Bailey (HHB) served as the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering consultants and was responsible for all aspects of the new and upgrade of existing Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) system electrical systems, fire suppression, fire detection & alarm systems, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Scope: The Existing Wilcox Building C was completely renovated including new ceiling finishes, wall finishes, restroom, HVAC, lighting, power, fire alarm and fire suppression systems. The one-story 11,000 sf building was vacated during the construction. A fast track design build contract was utilized, allowing demolition to occur during the design process. The building is a listed historic facility, requiring special attention to maintain the historic nature of the exterior and interior areas. The Building houses the School of Architecture
