Historic building renovation for Pike Road Schools

The City of Pike Road has announced the renovation of a historic building in Pike Road for a new school.  The building, portions built in 1918, is approximately 25,000 SF and was the Pike Road Consolidated School from 1918 to 1970.

The school will be completely renovated and turned into a middle school for the Pike Road school system. HHB Engineers is serving as the Mechanical Engineers on the AE design team for the renovation project.  Design is underway, and construction is expected to be completed in late fall of 2016.

HHB Engineers has worked on numerious historic renovation projects throughout the 32 year history of the firm, including the recently completed Vance Federal Building and Courthouse in downtown Birmingham, AL.
