East Quad Energy Plant
HHB served as prime A/E on the production of bridging documents for the design of the new East Quad Energy Plant for the University of Alabama. The Energy Plant will serve the area along Hackberry Lane north of University Blvd. Four 1,200 ton chillers are planned for the first phase, with four more 1,200 chillers to be installed in a future phase. Three 600 hp steam boilers will be installed with two more boilers plannef for the future. Cooling towers will be located on the roof of the buidling.
