HHB was the Mechanical/Plumbing Consulting Firm for the design of a new solar domestic hot water system for the existing CBQ barrack housing facilities at the Naval Air Station, Meridian, Mississippi. The system is sized for 100% of the domestic hot water demand for the 175 person facility.
The solar thermal system consists of 48 panels, a heat exchanger to seperate the closed outdoor loop and the interior domestic water system, 3000 gallons of storage, pumps, controls, etc.
